How to add commonsense cues in LaMP?

LaMP commonsense cues allow steering the disambiguation results and assigning labels on the phrases that were captured by the phrasal patterns. One can think of the phrasal patterns as “regular expression for natural language”.

Once a phrasal pattern, and a phrase is created, the commonsense cues are run on the interpretations that fit the phrase’s constraints.

In order to add a new commonsense cue:

  1. Navigate to Disambiguation > Phrasal Patterns
  2. Locate the phrase you need using is family ID, a substring, or a range
  3. Click on the commonsense cues button (with the cog icon) to go to the Commonsense Cues page
  4. Click on the + button to add a new commonsense cue

In the Commonsense Cue creation page, make sure you correlate the identity numbers with the elements in the phrasal patterns.
